With a focus on InsurTech and other forward-looking industry sectors, Robinson’s Department of Risk Management and Insurance is a world leader in risk management scholarship and education, ranked #4 among undergraduate RMI programs nationally by U.S. News & World Report, and designated a Global Center of Insurance Excellence by the International Insurance Society.
A student pursuing an RMI degree can focus on one of two areas of study. The insurance track prepares students for insurance industry careers such as underwriting, brokering and claims, and for corporate risk management positions in a variety of businesses. The quantitative track is for students interested in understanding how to model risk, and to communicate about risk in a business or government setting. Graduates find a variety of career opportunities as analysts in insurance, finance or government.
