Pre Kindergarten Teacher - Fulton County School
“The Birth through Five programs prepare professionals to work in various settings with diverse families and children who develop typically and atypical. The program also introduces you to state and national policies and standards...
As a developing teacher or professional you learn more about ensuring that you are carrying out proper guidelines while ensuring children are developing at their own pace in a safe and comfortable and fun classroom environment. Now, I am an early childhood education professional furthering my education by focusing on a Master’s in social foundations of education. I have the opportunity to explore various disciplines from a historical to contemporary timeline to understand the importance of transforming policies and procedures focusing on early childhood education. I am also receiving more practice by working as a research assistant and program evaluator for young children in preschool and pre-k classrooms.”
