Employers Value Art Education Majors
The B.F.A. in Art Education is a professional degree with rigorous classes preparing students for professional careers as artists and for entry into the M.F.A. graduate programs. The B.F.A. is offered in nine fine art disciplines: ceramics, drawing and painting, graphic design, interior design, photography, printmaking, sculpture and textiles. Students select a medium concentration in their sophomore year, and although students graduate with a concentration specialization, our school encourages interdisciplinary work and cross-pollination among the disciplines.
